The Twelve Traditions of SAA

Our common welfare should come first; personal recovery depends upon SAA unity.

Sex Addicts Anonymous should remain forever nonprofessional, but our service centers may employ special workers.
SAA, as such, ought never be organized; but we may create service boards or committees directly responsible to those they serve.
Sex Addicts Anonymous has no opinion on outside issues; hence the SAA name ought never be drawn into public controversy.
Our public relations policy is based on attraction rather than promotion; we need always maintain personal anonymity at the level of press, radio, TV, and films.
Anonymity is the spiritual foundation of all our traditions, ever reminding us to place principles before personalities.

slaa has chapters in most large cities, usually church based groups. a good place to start as they can direct you to local resources. if it helps any, there are many therapists that believe sex cannot be an addiction. they believe it is a symptom, ocd type behavior brought on by deeper issues. in my case those issues turned out to be childhood sexual abuse, and in many cases i have known have stemmed from some form of trauma. what you are seeing as addiction is often a coping tool you have developed to deal with past problems, and when you adress those root problems the compulsive behavior is much easier to manage.
