Nothing fascinates me about addictions.
It all makes perfect sense to me, that a biological organism can be affected by chemical processes.
Probably because i was always best at Biology.

oh but it more complex than that it’s a need non vital need that cause the body to cave a certain chemical balance that drive most to madness.
The body begins an addition with a bodily caving but a caving can only be stop mentally.

Addiction is interesting to me because people are convinced that they understand addiction. No one does, it’s so arrogant to believe otherwise. That first answerer pissed me off beyond belief with his statement. Addiction is sought after by some, and is totally horrifying to others. I’ve only had a weak chemical dependency to vicodins but I’ve been around several addicts.
Aside from drugs I think that everyone is an addict to something, especially happiness. Some people will do anything to get that rush from happiness which chemical as much as “spiritual”.
